A pair of music obsessives who’ve been living in Prague, Czech Republic for almost five years. Learning the language hasn’t always been much fun, but going on the hunt for the hidden gems of the Czech underground music scene is a never ending voyage of surprise and discovery. We hope you can find something you like on this site and if you think that there’s something that we’ve missed, then we want to hear from you!

We promise to only mention this once, but we make music too. James as Jean Blanc and Adam as Painter Child (while he’s not looking, I’ll add that Adam used to be the bassist in a band called Fell City Girl that were once compared to Radiohead, check them out!).

  1. hey praguebeats,
thanks for the like and for following the made.in.transylvania blog.
looking forward to checking out your site. i spent some time in prague and bohemia doing a traditional building project; beautiful woods, fairly-tale towns, rioutous bars and fantastic live music. Hope I get the chance to go again soon, and let us know if you come to Romania.

    • Hey, thanks for the comment and glad that you enjoyed it over here in Prague. I’m looking forward to reading through more of your blog, I really liked the post debunking dog myths!

  2. Hey!

I have recently noticed your comments on soundcloud (Comodorre) to few of my tracks and am glad you liked it! Its really nice to see your interest in CZ scene. Just to let you know, I have started on new project called Longterm with my serbian friend and we are now working together on music, so maybe you might be interested to hear few of our new stuff.

    again thanks!

    • Hey Michal,
Thanks for the message. Will definitely listen to your new project (good luck with that!). I really liked what you were creating under the name Comodorre. A great deal of emotion was felt in those tracks. They were very powerful. Plenty of diverse and interesting music in the CZ that we are discovering everyday.
