SouthDip (featuring DARA) – Planet Atmosphere

It’s the Sunday afternoon following the night before that was supposed to involve nothing more than a few leisurely drinks with friends but that actually culminated in being dragged bewildered and bemused onto the packed dance floor at James Dean (don’t judge me). The snooze button has been worn out and I’ve turned to music to soothe me back into some kind of waking existence.

Happily, one of the first tunes that I’ve stumbled across this mornternoon (get it?) has turned out to be exactly what the tune-doctor would have prescribed. Planet Atmosphere by Zlin-based artist, SouthDip, is built around ethereal pads that are so heavenly you could be fooled into thinking you’d just wondered into a Bukem set. Slowly encouraged along by a sparse and lazy beat, this tune is no hurry, and nor am I. Close your eyes and float.

James
